The 2018 Croquet Network States Shield deadline for all rosters is next Friday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. eastern US time. All state team directors should submit up to eight players for their initial rosters by the deadline. While only three players actually play during an individual test, the larger roster gives team directors flexibility to make adjustments to their starting line-ups between the qualification round and the championship without appealing to the other team directors.

Eighteen players from New York, Maryland, Wisconsin, Missouri, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia competed in the 2018 USCA SE GC Regional held recently at the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club in Hartfield, VA. Players were treated to extra helpings of warm southern hospitality as they competed over four days of singles and doubles block play and knock out rounds.

The National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida was the site of the 5th Annual USCA Florida Golf Croquet Tournament January 12 – 14, 2018. A record 32 players took to the lawns for three days of singles and doubles competition with a total of 119 matches played! It was wonderful to see a number of new faces enter the ranks as well as others from across the country and southern hemisphere with Lawrie Simpson of Australia traveling the farthest and logging the most frequent flyer miles!

After a sweltering two days of action, the 2017 Croquet Network States Shield Championship is set with both Missouri and Wisconsin easily advancing. The mighty Missouri squad easily rolled Kansas 9-1, while Wisconsin won 7-3 in a test that seemed to have a little more balance.

The 2017 Croquet Network States Shield southern matchup of the Kansas vs Missouri golf croquet test rolls out this Friday evening at the Kactus Creek Croquet Club in Kansas City, Missouri (Parkville). Missouri has named their starting roster and player spot -- #1 Matt Smith, #2 Steve Jackson and #3 Billy Bob Breeden. Kansas has named a starting roster but has not determined player spots for the #2 and #3 positions.
