The WCF has space is available in the 2015 Golf Croquet World Championship Qualifying Tournament for USCA players. The event will be held February 3-5, 2015 at the Morrinsville Croquet Club and Claudelands (Hamilton) Croquet Club in New Zealand. The top four players will be awarded places in the Golf Croquet World Championship held February 7-14 in Bay of Plenty, NZ and will have their main event entry fee paid by Croquet New Zealand.
The 25th USCA Seniors Masters Croquet Championships will be held on the lawns of the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida on November 12-16, 2014. Seventy-five players from throughout the United States and Canada are expected to compete in three flights of both singles and doubles. This American Rules tournament will consist of separate flights for Seniors, ages 60-69 and Masters 70+ in Championship and First Flight singles. There will be combined Seniors-Masters flights for Championship and First Flight doubles; Second Flight singles and doubles.
Last year’s Seniors Championship winner Mike Todorovich of Highland Beach, FL as well as, Seniors-Masters Championship Doubles winner Bob Chilton, from Texas and Palm Beach Gardens, FL will vie for their titles again. Twenty-one other past champions will also be competing.
Two additional senior events are also on deck in Florida. The 2014 Florida International Senior Games and State Championships will be held in Lee County, Florida, at the Estero Community Center near Fort Myers, December 6-14, 2014 with action in 24 sports. The croquet events will be December 6-7, with both singles and doubles in golf croquet.
