The eighth annual Palm Beach County Summer Golf Croquet League came to a conclusion on Tuesday evening, August 9, 2016, at the National Croquet Center. For six weeks, a record 88 teams competed, some on Tuesday evenings and some on Wednesday evenings.
The Championship Division winner, by a score of 7 to 3, was the M&Ms team (Meg Macy and Michael Todorovich). They earned a spot in the finals by winning the Tuesday evening Championship block. The Wednesday evening Championship block winner and eventual runner up in the finals, was the Old Guard team (Steve Warner and Kevin Moran).
The Diamonds in the Rough team (John Patten, Jr. and LLoyd Simon) defeated the We'll Have Another team (Melissa Winchester and Andy Winer) by a score of 7 to 3, in the Amateur Division final match.
Special recognition certificates were also awarded.
