The Croquet Association (UK) in now selling a limited run of a new book titled Beyond Expert Croquet Tactics. The ambitious book has a wide-ranging focus, but at the top of the list it looks to provide updated tactical advice on Keith Wylie’s Expert Croquet Tactics which was first published in 1985. That would include refinements of triple peeling, sextuple peels, super-shot openings, pegged-out endgames, peeling the opponent and super advanced tactics … wee! But wait, there’s more. It also tackles the psychological aspects of self-development, match preparation, how to compete most effectively and sections on equipment, statistics and a history of top level play.

The authors are listed as Keith Aiton, Reg Bamford, Paddy Chapman, Chris Clarke, Jenny Clarke, Martin French, Robert Fulford, David Maugham, Stephen Mulliner, David Openshaw, William Ormerod, Samir Patel, Pete Trimmer and Chris Williams.
