The USCA sent the following notification this week cancelling the 2020 Southeast GC Regional:
It is with great reluctance that I report the cancellation of the June USCA tournament: The Southeast Regional Golf Croquet Tournament originally scheduled for June 11-14 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
While some players are venturing out to for croquet and certain clubs are open under limiting guidelines, the USCA has determined that holding a regional tournament at this time is not possible: difficult to impossible for players, croquet professionals, the host club and their many volunteers.
We thank Pinehurst Croquet Club and Macey White, Southeast Regional Vice President, for their efforts thus far and the opinions that led to this decision. With hope, everyone will join us next year for the 2021 Southeast Regional Golf Croquet Tournament.
