The Northeast Florida Croquet Club (NEFCC) is sponsoring and hosting a USCA-sanctioned tournament at the Ponte Vedra Croquet Club, 100 Mosquito Control Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., March 24-26, 2023. It will be an American Rules six wicket tournament. The format will be round-robin block play for the first two days with three games per day per player. On Sunday, the event will have a single elimination playoff and plate for each flight. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Practice will be available Thursday after 3:00 p.m.
A block of rooms has been arranged at the Hilton Garden Inn, Ponte Vedra Beach at a rate of $199 a night ($75 discount). Go to Hilton.com and under special rates enter NEF. This will take you to our block rates to book. The hotel is five minutes from PVCC. Rooms are limited and on a first come first serve basis. Supporting our block rate will enable us to negotiate bigger event discounts in the future. The hotel just finished a major renovation and is very nice.
Lunch, bottled water, soda, chips, and other snacks each day are included in the entry fee. There will also be a social at the club Friday night with food, beer and wine included in the event. There any many great restaurants in the area at all price points for your diner Saturday.
