A Premier Golf Croquet Singles Event
The Ponte Vedra Croquet Club is thrilled to announce the upcoming PVCC Seahorse Tournament, a prestigious Golf Croquet Singles Tournament set to take place from Thursday, November 2nd, to Sunday, November 5th, 2023. Located at the stunning Ponte Vedra Beach Croquet Club at 100 Mosquito Control Road, this tournament welcomes players of all competitive levels to showcase their croquet skills in a friendly and spirited atmosphere.
Exciting Highlights:
Welcome Dinner and Meeting: The tournament kicks off with a welcome dinner and open bar on Wednesday, November 1st, at the PVCC Clubhouse starting at 5:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to gather, meet fellow competitors, and receive important tournament information.
Play and Fun Games: Practice and fun games are encouraged on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing participants to warm up and engage in friendly matches.
Intense Competition: The official play begins on Thursday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. with Block Play. The excitement continues into Saturday and Sunday with Bracket Play starting at 8:00 a.m. Participants will experience competitive thrill as they engage in Winner’s and Consolation Brackets in each flight.
Guaranteed Games: Each participant is guaranteed a minimum of nine games throughout the tournament, ensuring ample opportunities for skill development and strategic play.
Full Hospitality: Lunches, snacks, and beverages will be provided daily. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles for convenience while playing on the lawns.
Weather Resilience: The PVCC Seahorse Tournament is set to continue, rain or shine, so participants are advised to prepare for various weather conditions.
Registration Information: The entry fee for this USCA-sanctioned tournament is $375.00. PVCC members enjoy a discounted entry fee of $225.00. For guests, a comprehensive package that includes lunches, snacks, drinks, and two dinners is available for $125.00. To secure a spot, please complete the entry form provided on the club's website and mail it along with the entry fee to Marc Stearns at 8136 Seven Mile Drive, Ponte Vedra, FL 32082.
Limited Availability: The tournament is open to the first 48 entrants, adding to the exclusivity and excitement of the event.
Withdrawal Policy: Withdrawals before October 1st are subject to a $100 fee, while withdrawals after October 1, 2023, will incur a $200 fee.
