2022 Women’s Hurricane Open

2022 Hurricane Women’s Golf Croquet Open

The inaugural Women’s Hurricane Golf Croquet Open tournament was held at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 20-23, 2022.

The tournament was hosted by the women of the National Croquet Club and managed by Priscilla Flowers and Cami Russack. Macey White was the tournament director. 56 players signed up and represented all levels of GC play, from beginners to the best, including six of the top ten active female players in America; Helen Covington, Cheryl Bromley, Debbie Davidoff, Eileen Soo, Lynda Sudderberg, and Vicky Naranjo.

Soo Claims SE Regional GC Title

Eighteen players from New York, Maryland, Wisconsin, Missouri, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia competed in the 2018 USCA SE GC Regional held recently at the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club in Hartfield, VA. Players were treated to extra helpings of warm southern hospitality as they competed over four days of singles and doubles block play and knock out rounds.

Jeff Soo: Solomon Trophy Recap

The United States beat Great Britain 13-8 at the 2011 Solomon Trophy, held June 28 – July 1 at the Hamptworth Golf & Country Club in Wiltshire, England. Having won the match for the first time ever in 2009 at Mission Hills, Team USA’s first Solomon win on British soil is also its first successful defense of the Trophy.

I've just returned from four days in West Palm Beach, Florida where I participated in the Annual USCA Planning Meetings at the National Croquet Center. It kicked off on Friday night, with the 2010 awards ceremony, where I am thrilled to announce that Croquet Network was given the USCA's Media Coverage award.
