WCF Golf Croquet WC Makes First Visit to Australia

Come along and see the game of croquet played at its absolute finest when the World Croquet Federation’s Golf Croquet World Championships come to Australia for the first time at the end of February.

Around 80 players from 14 countries will converge in Melbourne from February 25 to March 5, 2017 for the 12^th World Championships, which are held every two years in a nominated country and attract the best names in the sport.

Yesterday's final day of the 2016 USCA Golf Croquet National Championship featured strong winds as several finals matches played on the the lawns of the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. For the main event, Stephen Morgan seemed relatively comfortable battling the conditions as he cruised to a 7-3 win in game one against Matt Griffith. But Griffith came back strong in game two to snag a 3-1 early lead.

The second day of the USCA's 2016 Golf Croquet National Championship at the National Croquet Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, was just as jam-packed with action as day one. In fact, doubles games under the lights were still under way when I left the NCC around 8:00 p.m. And there did seem to be one player protesting the extended action.

Day one of the 2016 USCA Golf Croquet National Championship at the National Croquet Center kicked off today in West Palm Beach, FLorida with a full slate of games. One late withdrawal in Championship Flight meant last minute adjustments to the four blocks, but everything appeared to run smoothly throughout the day.

2016 Palm Beach County Summer GC Results

The eighth annual Palm Beach County Summer Golf Croquet League came to a conclusion on Tuesday evening, August 9, 2016, at the National Croquet Center. For six weeks, a record 88 teams competed, some on Tuesday evenings and some on Wednesday evenings.

2016 Midwest GC Regionals Player Report

The ending to the first-ever USCA Regional to be held in Kansas City lived up to expectations. Cheryl Bromley and Matt Griffith faced off in a final that went the distance earlier today as Griffith took a 7-5, 5-7, 7-5 win at his Kactus Creek Croquet Club in Parkville, Missouri. The match featured great play by both players with lots of long clears and good hoop battles throughout.
