The round one doubles action ended with a 3-0 GB lead and as is customary for short tests like this, the teams took the opportunity to start the next round of doubles. Marcus Evans and David Maugham downed Rich Lamm and Chris Patmore 2-0 (+11, +24tp [E]) to extend the lead to 4-0.
