BALD HEAD ISLAND, NC -- Great Britain stormed out of the gates again today in Solomon play as they pushed out to a 6-0 lead before Danny Huneycutt got the U.S. team on the scoreboard with a +26, +2tp over Keith Aiton. Stephen Mulliner took a 2-1 win over Doug Grimsley to extend the overall lead to 7-1, but the U.S. made a late charge with three straight wins to actually go 4-3 on the day. Day three should be interesting as the U.S. will need to sustain the momentum as Britain is now four wins away from overall victory.
