The 2026 MacRobertson Shield competition has entered day two of the final round with New Zealand leading England 2-1 after day one in the title test. The early action on day two favors England as they lead two of the three doubles matches 1-0, with the test currently on a lunch break.
All of the action has been doubles for the first two days and this morning’s early results have James Death/Samir Patel with a 26-0 win in game one against Paddy Chapman/Edmund in a match custom-made for livestreaming. In fact, the Croquet England livestream has featured the third place test between Australia and the U.S. That certainly generated a few critical comments from the livestream viewers on YouTube.
In other title match action, Robert Fulford/Jack Good notched a 26-23 win over Felix Webby/Jenny Clarke. The mac2026.live scoreboard is showing Logan McCorkindale/Aaron Westerby +3 in game one vs Mark Avery/Jamie Burch.
In the third place test, Team USA has moved out to a 4-1 lead as Zack Watson went 26-1, 26tp-1 versus Greg Hill, while Matthew Essick was 26-0, 26-22 against Dwayne McCormick in morning play.
