Morning Coffee: Fargo South Claims Midwest High School Title

Visit the Store The 2011 Midwest High School Croquet Championship was held this past Friday night at the Sports Bubble in Fargo, North Dakota and Fargo South came out as the champion in a tight race. Over 50 students participated in the championship and about 120-150 spectators were on hand to watch the action. The format was nine-wicket cutthroat style with 45 minute time limits. Visit the Store A few media sources are "reporting" that St. John's took the annual Annapolis Cup event. One is indicating a score of 3-1, which doesn't explain what happened to the fifth game. With the win, St. John's now leads the series 24-5 over Navy. The Johnnies have now taken six straight over Navy.
