Rosemary Landrebe Named Incoming WCF Secretary-General

The World Croquet Federation (WCF) Management Committee has announced the appointment of Rosemary Landrebe of Australia as the organization’s next Secretary-General. Landrebe will officially begin her term as Deputy Secretary-General on September 1, 2025, and is slated to assume the full Secretary-General role on January 1, 2026, following the planned retirement of current Secretary-General Debbie Lines at the end of this year.

Landrebe’s initial appointment will run through the end of 2029, with eligibility for a second four-year term from January 2030 through December 2033.

A seasoned operations manager and analyst, Landrebe brings a strong background in stakeholder engagement and organizational development within both the sports and non-profit sectors. Her recent contributions to Croquet Australia and the New South Wales croquet community include involvement in strategic implementation, program development, and coaching initiatives.

In addition to her professional qualifications, Landrebe is a respected figure on the court. With over 40 years of experience in the sport, she has competed at a high level in both Association Croquet and Golf Croquet, representing both Australia and New South Wales in national and international competitions.

The WCF Management Committee expressed full confidence in Landrebe’s appointment, citing her long-standing dedication to croquet and her proven leadership skills as key assets for guiding the organization through its next chapter.
