Each year, three of the USCA Regional Vice President positions come up for election. The USCA Nominating Committee nominates members for the Regional Vice President positions for terms of two years each beginning at the USCA Annual General Meeting (AGM). At the 2026 AGM, the following positions will be announced:
The 2026 Association Croquet World Team Championship — Tier 1, competing for the historic MacRobertson Shield — will take place in England from July 24 to August 9, 2026. The event will feature the four powerhouse nations of world croquet: England (defending champions), Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
The Winter 2025 Digital Edition of the USCA’s Croquet News is here! This issue honors the life and legacy of former USCA President Damon Bidencope, who passed away in September shortly after completing his term in office. A passionate advocate and leader, Bidencope’s contributions to the sport are remembered in a special front-of-magazine tribute.
To encourage greater involvement from younger croquet enthusiasts, the CBCC has lowered its tournament entry fees and is offering complimentary memberships to players under the age of 30. This initiative directly addresses one of the primary concerns facing young players: the financial barrier posed by membership dues and tournament costs.
The 2025 Golf Croquet World Team Championships for Tiers 2 and 3 brought twelve nations to the Sussex County Croquet Club in Southwick, England, delivering a week of high-level play, tactical battles, and international breakthroughs during August 5-10, 2025. Sweden claimed the Tier 2 title and a return to Tier 1, while Canada fielded a full national team for the first time (Adam Barr, John Richardson, Amr Hamdy and Hesham Elzoghby) and made an immediate impact with a silver-medal run. All four of the players came from the North Toronto Croquet Club.
South Africa’s Reg Bamford entered Sunday’s WCF Association Croquet World Championship final against England’s Mark Avery on an 11-game triple streak. After about 45 minutes of play in game one, that streak appeared to be in serious jeopardy as Avery had the first turn around and was well on his way to a triple win with peelee in the jawz of rover as he approached 3B with precision with a standard hoop shot. The ball stuck and that turn ended with just four hoops to go for potential 1-0 lead.
The Southport Croquet Club, located in Southport, Queensland, turned back the clock this past weekend, celebrating its 90th anniversary with a garden party filled with laughter, champagne and, of course, croquet.

In a move to support the expansion and enhancement of its National Croquet Center (NCC) in West Palm Beach, FL, the Croquet Foundation of America (CFA) announces a matching grant of up to $1,000,000 from an anonymous donor and National Croquet Club member who has committed to match all new contributions dollar-for-dollar, including sponsorships for the New Steuber Classic Tournament, the Hall of Fame Gala, and croquet court or other naming opportunities.
