The organizing committee for the WCF Women's AC World Championship has announced that the WCF and the Croquet Association to hold the event at the Nottingham Croquet Club from July 25 to August 1, 2015. The event is being run in support of Cancer Research UK.
On September 21, the WCF will formally be inviting members to participate in the championship and to nominate players. Advance information for those who may be interested in playing is now available on the event's website at http://www.wacwc2015.org.

Sherif Abdelwahab
The USCA has announced Sherif Abdelwahab, Stephen Morgan, Matt Griffith and Carl Uhlman as selections for the 2015 WCF World Golf Croquet Championship to be held February 7-15, 2015 in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Abdelwahab, earned a ranking position in the event, while Morgan was awarded one of the wildcard positions.
US Player Recruitment - 2015 GC Worlds
The Under-21 Golf Croquet World Championship will be held at the United Croquet Club, Christchurch, New Zealand from February 1-5, 2015.
The Golf Croquet World Championship will be held at Mount Maunganui Croquet Club and other clubs in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand from February 7-15, 2015. A Qualifying Tournament will be held from 3-5 February 3-5, 2015 at Morrinsville Croquet Club, New Zealand.

WCF Announces 2014 Over-50 GC Players
Thirty-five players have been awarded places in the 2014 Over-50 Golf Croquet World Championship to be held in October. The event capacity has been set at 40, so five additional spots are available for member countries to request additional allocations.

The WCF announced Bay of Plenty, New Zealand as host for the 2015 World Golf Croquet Championship to be held February 7-15, 2015. A qualifying tournament for the 2015 GCWC only will be held from February 3-5, 2015 at Morrinsville Croquet Club. The Under-21 GCWC will be held at the United Croquet Club in Christchurch, New Zealand, February 1-5, 2015.
2017 MacRobertson Shield to California
The Mission Hills Croquet Club in Ranch Mirage, CA has announced that it has submitted a bid to host the next MacRobertson International Croquet Shield in 2017. The bid must be approved by all four MacRobertson Shield countries. The United States has only hosted the event one previous time -- at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, FL in 2003.

However, the situation in Egypt has taken a turn for the worse in the past month, so the WCF has agreed with the Egyptian Croquet Federation to defer the event until November 2014. The will re-evaluate the situation in Egypt in February 2014, and then confirm the dates and arrangements.

New WCF AC World Champion: Robert Fletcher
Robert Fletcher in action during the ACWC Final (Click for Gallery)Australia's Robert Fletcher defeated New Zealand's Paddy Chapman 3-0 (26-22, 26tp-23, 26-0) yesterday to claim the 14th WCF Association Croquet World Championship at the Surbiton Club in England.
Reg Bamford claimed the last two World Championships (2009, 2012) and prior to that Chris Clark, Robert Fulford and Bamford have held exclusive control of the title back to 1991.
Fletcher is the first Australian to win the title and at 20 the youngest player to win the title. Robert Fulford was 21 when he claimed the title in 1990.
In the Bowl (for those knocked out of the first round of the KO), James Hopgood (ENG) beat Nick Parish (ENG) +23tp, +26tp.
In the Plate (for those who did not qualify for the KO), Jose Riva (ESP) beat Paul Bennett (USA) +11,+12.
In the Shield (for those out of everything else), Richard Smith (ENG) beat Lionel Tibble (ENG) +13, +5.
