The Annapolis Cup rivalry between the Johnnies of St. John's College and the midshipmen of the U.S. Naval Academy, is set to return on April 15, 2023. The nine-wicket test began in 1982 but was forced to take a two-year hiatus in 2020 and 2021. Last year the Naval Academy hosted got the win to end a five-year win streak for the Johnnies. The overall record now stands at 30 wins for the Johnnies and eight for the midshipmen.
This year, the tradition is returning to the St. John's College campus and will be “re-envisioned” to provide the best experience for St. John’s students and alumni. For more information on the series, visit www.sjc.edu/annapolis/events/croquet/facts.
