Croquet England has officially announced the Great Britain team that will challenge the United States in the upcoming 2025 Solomon Trophy. The prestigious Association Croquet event is set to take place from August 7-10, 2025, on home turf at the Budleigh Salterton Croquet Club in Devon.
The announcement sets the stage for a highly anticipated transatlantic clash, following Team USA's 14-7 victory in the 2023 event held in Sarasota, Florida. Now, Great Britain aims to reclaim the trophy in front of a home crowd.
The format for the 2025 contest will be a 21-point test, featuring nine best-of-three doubles matches and twelve best-of-three singles matches. Spectators are welcome to attend and witness the action.
The AC Selection Committee has named the following players to represent Great Britain:
Great Britain Solomon Trophy Team
Harry Fisher
Jack Good
Gabrielle Higgins

Reserve: Aston Wade
Congratulations to all the players selected.
They will face a strong American squad that was announced earlier this year:
