2025 AC World Qualifier Set for October at National Croquet Center

The road to the 2025 WCF Association Croquet World Championship will pass through West Palm Beach this October, as registration officially opens for the AC World Championship Qualifier. Scheduled for October 14-16 at the National Croquet Center (NCC), the event will determine at least four coveted spots in the global championship field.

The Qualifier will be contested in a strict Swiss format over eight or nine rounds, depending on the number of vacancies. With only 24 places available, the competition is expected to be intense. Entry is $75 and is open only to players who intend to compete in the main championship if they earn a qualifying spot. Those who have already received an invitation to the championship are not eligible to participate in the Qualifier.

Key Deadlines and Entry Process
While the event may initially appear full, players must add themselves to the waitlist to be considered. On the Qualifier Allocation Date—July 14—entries will be ranked by DGrade*, and the top 24 players will be offered spots. If the field is not full by that date, entries will continue to be accepted in the order received until the roster is complete.

The final deadline to enter is September 29, 2025. No late entries will be accepted.

For players eyeing a last-chance opportunity to reach the World Championship, this Qualifier represents a crucial stepping stone on the international croquet calendar.

*Note: The ranking list used for this event is based on the player's most recent official DGrade, regardless of activity over the past 12 months, differing from the system used to allocate main championship Ranking Places.
