Registration Open for the 2026 Women’s International Friendship Cup

The Women’s Golf Croquet Academy (WGCA) proudly announces registration is now open for the 2026 Women’s International Friendship Cup, returning to the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. This highly regarded event brings together women of all ages and abilities for three days of spirited golf croquet competition and camaraderie.

Event Overview

The Friendship Cup is a singles tournament with flights based on player skill levels, featuring block play followed by knockout rounds.

  • Event Capacity: 48 players

  • Dress Code: White croquet attire

  • Practice Courts: Available Tuesday afternoon, March 24

  • Entry Fee: $295 (includes daily lunches, refreshments, and awards)

  • Registration Deadline: February 10, 2026

About the Event

The Women’s International Friendship Cup was inspired by Cheryl Bromley, whose vision was to create a premier women’s tournament in the U.S. that showcased international talent and fostered friendships across all skill levels. The event debuted in 2021 as the first Women’s GC Open in the United States and became officially recognized as the Women’s International Friendship Cup in 2022. The 2026 edition marks the fifth installment of the tournament and the second proudly sponsored by the Women’s Golf Croquet Academy.

About the Women’s Golf Croquet Academy

Founded in 2021 by MaryCarol Stearns, Debbie Davidoff, Cheryl Bromley, and Ellie Griffith, the WGCA’s mission is to develop and improve women’s croquet skills in a supportive environment. The academy offers training sessions and supervised match play for players at every level—from novice to advanced competitors—at clubs throughout the U.S.
