USCA Renames High Performance and Talent Development Fund in His Honor

The American croquet community mourns the passing of Immediate Past President Damon Bidencope, who passed away on September 13, 2025. Damon’s leadership, vision, and unwavering passion for the sport left an indelible mark on both the USCA and the global croquet community.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. EST, and will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.

In recognition of his lasting contributions, the United States Croquet Association has renamed the High Performance and Talent Development Fund — which Damon originally established — to the Damon Bidencope HPTD Fund. The fund supports the growth of top-level competitive croquet in the United States, reflecting Damon’s enduring commitment to excellence and player development.
