The 2026 Canadian Association Croquet National Championship was held June 4-7 in Bayfield, Ontario, bringing together many of the best association croquet players from across Canada and abroad. The championship was jointly hosted at the Bayfield International Croquet Club with support by the Seaforth Lawn Bowling Club.

2025 AC World Championship Down to Nine Players in Florida
Day Two of the AC Worlds Championship Knockout saw intense action on four courts at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. With the Mark Avery (ENG) versus Andrew Johnston (IRL), pegged down, the field is now at nine players. That match is expected to start shortly after 8:00 a.m. eastern time this morning with Avery up 2-1.

2023 AC Worlds: Last Eight
Round Two of the WCF Association Croquet World Championships did not disappoint as there was plenty of action at Hurlingham as 16 players took to the courts looking for a chance to advance to the last eight. Here’s a quick summary of the day’s action. World #1 Robert Fletcher (AUS) was the first one through to the Last Eight based on a 3-0 win over #46 Gavin Carter (ENG) with three triples. That kept a streak of 14 straight games with a peeling finish for Fletcherhich means a peeling finish in 14 straight games.

The semifinals were played at the Wellington club. The lawns were only running at 10 seconds after overnight rain, but the hoops were in fresh firm ground, albeit they were set much wider than a standard Wellington Open weekend. The day started overcast and there was the occasional light drizzle as it progressed.

Plate, Bowl, and of course Main KO quarterfinals were played today. The Shield (for players knocked out in the round of 16) has a doubtful level of interest. The widely dispersed venues are probably a factor (participation in the Bowl was also on the low side). Now that the tournament is in its final stages it feels like a unified event again. Those on hand to watch the Main KO quarterfinals were treated to four great matches, each with its own character.

The Plate blocks were split between Paraparaumu and Waikanae today, while the main knockout started at Kelburn and Wellington. The Plate format is eight blocks of five or six players each, the eight block winners advancing to a knockout. The only triple of the day at Paraparaumu was by Alain Giraud (ENG) and featured an adventurous finish.
