The Under-21 Golf Croquet World Championship will be held at the United Croquet Club, Christchurch, New Zealand from February 1-5, 2015.
The Golf Croquet World Championship will be held at Mount Maunganui Croquet Club and other clubs in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand from February 7-15, 2015. A Qualifying Tournament will be held from 3-5 February 3-5, 2015 at Morrinsville Croquet Club, New Zealand.
If you would like to be considered for selection to one of these events, or have any questions, please contact Eric Sawyer (ecsccs@sbcglobal.net) by no later than June 15th.
WCF Announces 2014 Over-50 GC Players
Thirty-five players have been awarded places in the 2014 Over-50 Golf Croquet World Championship to be held in October. The event capacity has been set at 40, so five additional spots are available for member countries to request additional allocations.

The WCF announced Bay of Plenty, New Zealand as host for the 2015 World Golf Croquet Championship to be held February 7-15, 2015. A qualifying tournament for the 2015 GCWC only will be held from February 3-5, 2015 at Morrinsville Croquet Club. The Under-21 GCWC will be held at the United Croquet Club in Christchurch, New Zealand, February 1-5, 2015.
U.S. AC Championship for Soo
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA -- Jeff Soo beat Ben Rothman 26tp-9, 26tpo-14 to claim his first U.S. AC National Singles title yesterday at the Mission Hills Croquet Club in Rancho Mirage, California. Jeff Soo advanced over Paul Bennett 26-11, 26-21, to earn his place in the final. Rothman had a 9-26, 26tp-1, 26-20otp win over Brian Cumming to make the final. That match ended a streak of 24 straight triples that broke a 2007 record of 20.

The Mission Hills Croquet Club in Ranch Mirage, CA has announced that it has submitted a bid to host the next MacRobertson International Croquet Shield in 2017. The bid must be approved by all four MacRobertson Shield countries. The United States has only hosted the event one previous time -- at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, FL in 2003.

Morning Coffee: USCA Grand Prix Surprise
If you haven't dialed into the USCA Grand Prix race lately, you might be in for a bit of a surprise. Danny Huneycutt currently has 30,418 points to lead the race while Ben Rothman has second place with 27,280 points. That should change slightly as the Association Doubles National Championship results have not yet been submitted and Rothman took a win there with partner Doug Grimsley. However, it's unclear whether or not that would actually bump Rothman into first.
