US Team Selection Opens for 2026 MacRobertson Shield

Players Invited to Declare Availability by October 26, 2025

The United States Croquet Association (USCA) has officially opened player availability for the 2026 MacRobertson Shield, the most prestigious team competition in Association Croquet. The event will be held in England from July 24 to August 9, 2026, marking the return of international team play to British lawns for the first time since 2014.

The MacRobertson Shield is contested between the world’s top four national teams: Australia, England, New Zealand, and the United States. The event is staged on a rotating basis every three to four years among the four nations and is considered the pinnacle of the sport’s team competition. The last edition, hosted by Australia in 2022, was won by England, with the United States finishing third following a strong showing against New Zealand.

Event Schedule (2026 MacRobertson Shield – England)

  • Round 1: July 24-28 at Roehampton & Hurlingham

  • Round 2: July 30-August 3 at Sussex County Croquet Club

  • Round 3: August 5-9 at Surbiton Croquet Club

U.S. players interested in representing Team USA are invited to complete the official 2026 MacRobertson Shield Availability Form and submit it by October 26, 2025. Team selections will be announced by November 9, 2025.
