Adam Barr
Croquet Canada held its Annual General Meeting as online meeting on November 18, 2025, chaired by President Jim Wright. A key feature of the Annual meeting is the recognition of outstanding achievements through the Player-of-the-Year (POY) and Club-of-the-Year (COY) awards.
Player accomplishments are evaluated separately under Association and Golf Croquet rules. Within each discipline, competitors are placed in either the Blue Division (top players) or the Red Division. COY standings are determined by points earned by up to four members from each club.
Board Member John Richardson presented the 2025 Award Results:

Brian Cumming
This marks Adam Barr's second consecutive POY win. Cumming’s long record of success in Association Croquet reflects a sustained level of excellence, and it is no surprise that being named Croquet Canada Player of the Year has become a familiar honour for him. This end-of-year Croquet Canada recognition is bookended by their earlier achievements, when the United States Croquet Association honoured them for outstanding performance: Cumming was named the 2024 AC Grand Prix Champion, and Barr received the award for GC Most Improved Player.

The Derrick Robinson Memorial Award recognizes the individual who has made the greatest contribution to the growth and development of croquet in Canada. The 2025 recipient is John Miles, President of North Toronto Croquet.
