The Tulsa Croquet Club at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Indian Territory Open and North American Open Added to 2026 Mallet Series Tour

May 13, 2026

Featuring stops in Tulsa, Denver and VIRGINIA, the Mallet Series Tour LOOKS FOR GROWTH IN 2026

The 2026 Mallet Series Tour schedule continues to expand with the addition of major tournaments representing both American Six-Wicket and Golf Croquet competition across the United States.

Among the featured events on the 2026 calendar is the Indian Territory Open in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which joins the tour as an American Six-Wicket event scheduled for Memorial Day weekend. The tournament, which runs May 22-25, has become one of the region’s most established competitive events and strengthens the tour’s multi-code structure.

Also joining the tour is the North American Open Golf Croquet tournament, scheduled for October 16-19, 2026, at the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club in Hartfield, Virginia. The event is expected to attract many of North America’s leading Golf Croquet players and further expand the tour’s national footprint.

Announced earlier this year, the 2026 US Golf Croquet Classic will also serve as a premier stop on the tour. Set for June 12-14 in Denver, Colorado, the tournament expanded to a 24-player field after selling out within eight hours of its initial announcement. Matches will be played across two venues, including Washington Park, home of the Denver Croquet Club, and the historic Denver Country Club.

The US GC Classic will feature two 12-player divisions determined by DGRADE rankings. The top 12 players will compete in the PRO Division, while players ranked 13–24 will compete in the GOLD Division. All players will advance to knockout play, with additional competitive opportunities included through both a Pro Plate and Silver Division playoff structure.

The Mallet Series Tour officially transitioned into a national multi-code tour structure in 2025, evolving from its Midwest roots as a nine-wicket series into a broader competitive platform supporting all forms of croquet.

”We are excited to announce the North American Open as a new event for the Mallet Series Tour as we look to stretch outside of the midwest and visit premier venues with room for growth based on court capacity,” said Dylan Goodwin, Mallet Series One. “With 24 courts available, the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club facility was a top target for the series for 2026.

Goodwin also said that the series is looking forward to having the Indian Territory Open on the Series calendar for the second year, noting that many of the MCA Nine Wicket Series players have frequently played in the tournament over the year. “It represents a bit of tradition and continuity for our legacy players.”
