South Africa’s Reg Bamford entered Sunday’s WCF Association Croquet World Championship final against England’s Mark Avery on an 11-game triple streak. After about 45 minutes of play in game one, that streak appeared to be in serious jeopardy as Avery had the first turn around and was well on his way to a triple win with peelee in the jawz of rover as he approached 3B with precision with a standard hoop shot.
